Stay connected and enjoy complimentary internet access during your visit. This service is provided for your convenience, subject to the following terms:

 

Access

  • In-house guests: Available internet access during your stay.
  • Non–in-house customers: Complimentary access is limited to 3 hours per session, based on availability.
  • Premium option (Limited availability): Faster, high-speed access may be available for purchase at the Front Desk
  • Access is personal, non-transferable, and for your own use only. Sharing or resale of access is forbidden.

 

Terms of Use

By connecting to the Blue Lotus Hotel Wi-Fi or LAN network, you agree that the following are forbidden:

  • Any unlawful activities under Philippine law, including but not limited to: hacking, cybercrime, online fraud, piracy, spamming, phishing, malware distribution, or accessing prohibited content.
  • Excessive or disruptive usage that degrades the Service for others (e.g., torrenting, bulk downloads, continuous high-bandwidth streaming).
  • Unauthorized access to another guest’s device, account, or data.
  • Attempts to bypass hotel systems, restrictions, or monitoring safeguards.
  • Using the Service for resale, solicitation, or other commercial purposes.
  • Users are solely responsible for all activities through their connection. Misuse may lead to immediate suspension or disconnection, and where necessary, reporting to law enforcement.

 

Privacy Notice

To maintain safe and reliable Wi-Fi, the Hotel may collect limited technical data such as Device type and MAC address, Connection times, session duration, and bandwidth usage, Activity logs to detect network abuse or technical faults

This information is used only to:

  •  Keep the network stable and secure
  •  Prevent abuse or unlawful activity
  •  Improve service quality for all guests

We keep this data confidential and only disclose it if legally required or for system security support. We do not monitor your private communications, browsing content, or personal files.

 

Security Commitment

Blue Lotus Hotel has taken steps to protect guests online, including Network isolation, Basic DNS filtering, Regular monitoring to detect unusual or abusive traffic. However, as with all public networks, complete protection cannot be guaranteed. Guests are encouraged to keep devices updated and use antivirus, firewalls, or VPNs for added safety.

 

Disclaimer & Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we take precautions, interruptions and risks inherent to public internet remain. Blue Lotus Hotel shall not be liable for:

  • Data interception or unauthorized access beyond our controls
  • Device damage, viruses, or harmful software picked up outside our network
  • Service interruptions or reduced speeds caused by congestion, upgrades, or external issues

By using the Service, you accept these limitations and agree to indemnify and hold Blue Lotus Hotel harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your connection.

This Internet Access Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
